Parkrun report March April 2026 by Michelle Mullins

With May quickly rolling our way we have reviews of our Masters clan doing what we do best - rocking up at parkrun to show the masses how teamwork comes together.

This year we have charged things up, not only to volunteer, but to attend some popular parkruns to run and walk with our Masters along their side their community.

March saw us attend Belvedere parkrun in Seaford. And it just so happened to be their pacer day. However, a few Masters had already organised their personal pacers before hand. The morning did not dissapoint, although a tad on the chilly side with even a sprinkling of rain, it didn't deter the 147 attendees from enjoying it all. A visit to the closest Maccas for bacon & egg muffins and the post parky coffee finished off what we can call a successful morning.

For April we returned to joining in at Marriott Waters and taking over their Volunteer roster. A fabulous effort by 14 members (including some juniors) who chose to give back to our City of Casey parkruns. The good old green, orange and blue everywhere to be seen.

The morning also brought quite a few Personal Bests too. The following Monday training session heard lots of bell ringing as well as awesome finishing times.

Next up we'll be on the Volunteering List at Emerald Lake parkrun on the 30th of May. An amazing course, albeit a little challenging. The roster will be on the table at our training sessions for you to add your name to any role. Every role is easy to do and you get to do it with your team mates. Can't get any better than that.

So, until then, we'll catch up on our usual Mondays and/or Wednesdays for the sessions we all love best.

Stay safe, take care of each other and parkrun like a rock star!
