Many of us were looking forward to this Championship, some hoping of winning a championship, others to challenge themselves to see how far they can go. The race was organised by Knox Masters. Many thanks to all the volunteers who gave us the opportunity to race. The weather was a lot better than forecast. Cool, but no rain and no wind, basically ideal weather for a race. There were many starters that challenged themselves to a distance they never did before. To accommodate for all abilities, Knox offered an early start. Casey Fields Masters was the largest group out of the nearly 80 participants. The course started from Knox car park, in front of the athlics track, went on for two loops on the nearby trail, and finished back on the athletics track. Mesh & Shoana did not only win in their age group, they also had the fastest time overall.
